Feel free to peruse the updated Place Names book. It is over 1000 pages - I skimmed looking for names I recognized in the Clackamas District but I could easily have missed some. It is free to look at, although you have to create a free account to "checkout" the book (which seems weird for an electronic book).

If you find any others, let me know and I'll be happy to add them to that page.

Thanks for these additions. It's always interesting to know the origins of familiar place names.

Another name which could be added to the list is Lake Lenore. According to an obituary published in 2010, it was given the name by the USFS as a birthday gift to one of their fire lookouts, Alice Lenore Gensman. https://obits.oregonlive.com/us/obituaries/oregon/name/alice-gensman-obituary?id=18703312

The lake is not named on maps until the 1958 Estacada District map labeled it "Lake Leone." Same thing on the 1963 map. Later maps show it as "Lake Lenore."
