my efforts to keep things green:

Hi!  The trail is part of the Mt. Hood National Forest, Clackamas Ranger District, in Estacada, Oregon.  The ranger district is aware of this closure to bikes.
They can be contacted at 503-630-6861.
    thanks very much!

    Robert,

Thanks for your email. Do you know who manages this trail system? Iíd be happy to remove the trail, but want to check into the details a bit more. Any contact info would be helpful.

    All the best,

Hi, Please remove the Portland Oregon Clackamas River trail from your system.  This trail is closed to mountain biking, it is very dangerous and narrow.  I was hiking there last week, and was almost knocked off a cliff by 3 riders.  There is also extensive bike damage to the frail old growth ecosystem, including muddy stream crossings in lieu of using the bridges.  Please do all you can to keep this area safe and beautiful.
I have nothing against mountain biking, but riders should not ride in prohibited areas.  Someone can get hurt!  If you can post this information on your site, I'd really appreciate it.
    thanks very much,
    -Robert Koscik
