I'll betcha that road has been horrible since 1940....and before that it was a railroad.

Spent the weekend on the White River near Wamic, glorious! Looking forward to the Clacky snow melting so I can get the heck out there.

It's the open relatively flat area after the initial drop down from the road. It's cool that it's already blended into the exisiting vegetation after only a year, I had to build a new bench and tear out a lot of brush.
I'd like to get out to the end of 4610 but there is usually a big drift up before Squaw Lakes. If anybody has been up there I'd love to hear about it.
It can all change by the end of the week though! The sun is doing it's business finally.
I think it's going to be a few weeks before it melts up there though.
