Went up there yesterday from the jct. of 504, up the Old Baldy trail. The route is clear all the way up to th' top, with the exception of a couple sno-fields. HOWEVER (always?), the tread has been seriously damaged by horses, ATVs, and mountain bikes. It's really bad in spots, actually a deep muddy trench where the tread should be. I have nothing against shared recreation, but when that much damage has been caused on the tread, those that caused the damage should step up and fix their mess.
It's a very beautiful stroll thru the woods, and nice up on top. It would make a nice summer project to get that trail back into specs, somewhat!
