I noticed this abandoned trail is missing from your index. It connects with the abandoned road down to Eagle Creek. Not sure if this is in the Clackamas ranger district tho....might be in ZigZag.
The trail grade is in pretty good shape, but the brush is very heavy in spots. The trailhead was quite hard to find, off FS 255. Very nice, dense forest and steep slopes. Needs some TLC.
I think this is the Tr 783? It is a Zig Zag trail. If you'd like others to be able to find it and if you go back someday consider clearing the entrance out and hanging a ribbon. If you want, we can make you a sign. (In spite of it being out of district). It doesn't sound like it gets much attention.
Might add edge of district trails to the index someday.
