Does anyone know why the 4620 is closed past Indian Henry?

  • Re: Road 4620 (#)
  • According to the front desk at the Clackamas River Ranger District office the 4620 is to be closed for 4 weeks starting on August 25 for road repairs. So that means it won't be open until around Sept 22, give or take a day or two.

    • Perfect timing for a back door to be opened.

      • The plans are in motion as we speak.

      • what what what??? any part of these 'plans' you can share. I am always very interested in anything regarding Fish Creek and surrounding areas.

Robert, I was hiking around the plaza in early July... Twin Springs is trenched for good, large berm, deep ditch behind, my dog almost got stuck down there. What confounds me is the fact that Twin Springs camp was pristine when compared to the improvised camp/dump spots at Squaw Lakes. Wouldn't the area around Squaw be considered an extremely 'sensitive riparian area' or something of that sort? I don't know, maybe it's just a matter of perception.
