I'll try to get out there, usually get to that trail a couple times a year. It's been sort of hard to get out this winter tho.... It is a nice one, and you did a good job rescuing it from oblivion. One of my favorites.
The snow level must be pretty low on that one these days..
Went up there last Friday. You did lots of work on the lower 1/2 of the trail, many sawed out logs and few down limbs, thank you. I also found a map on the trailhead with a date from a few days earlier marked on it.....
The upper part between F.S. 130 and 4635 was a mess. I cleaned most of the blowdown, but there are about 6 big trees down across the trail. Got to the rockfield and the snow was too deep to continue.
Was this trail especially hard hit this year? I'd estimate 70% of the upper trail was covered by branches...also don't think I've seen so many big down trees.
