Given that fires and smoke seem to be kind of the "new normal" for late summer, I added an air quality index button on the weather tab on the maps.  Similar to the 3 day weather reports, it will show the air quality index for the area at the center of the map as reported by the EPA.  I may add when the reading was taken for context, but currently it just shows the values.

And here is what it looks like - sometimes you will get both ozone and particulate matter (particulate matter is what most people quote it seems):
