I was going to guess Granite Peaks (there are 3 of them), but I have no idea what lake that could possibly be.

Well, I don't think I was that close, but....I've only been to lower rock lake once, probably 11 years ago.  That must be why it didn't look familiar to me.

Anyway, here is another photo of an interesting tree (at least I thought it was interesting).  It was taken on a current trail.  What trail is this unique tree on?P7070085.jpg

But watchout next weekend, for I have joined those who have retired from work, come Friday. Then I won't be looking at this screen, for I will be where the power cord can't reach. Out on the trail. Don

 

Happy retirement, Don.  Hopefully I'll be able to retire before I kick the bucket, and spend more time out on the trails.
