Interesting.  3 Lynx pipeline power generation is small potatoes for all that metal and engineering.  Well it is 70 years old.

I was told it also has the largest head (vertical drop) of any hydro west of the Mississippi. Takes very little water to spin the turbines so is still pretty efficient even for it's age. One of the reasons it was recently re-licensed by PGE.
