Really enjoyed reading your essays.  However, didn't even realize they were there until recently; they deserve higher billing than being buried under About.  Perhaps you could put them in a more promenent location on the website, or even give them their own heading under Navigation?  Just a suggestion.

I have to agree, and also give a big THANK YOU for starting this site.  There are two statements that you wrote that sum up why I love the trails in the Clackamas country:

Thanks again for creating this site, and keeping it maintained.  Although I have not shown up for an official work day yet, I have tried to do a little trail maintenance when I've been out (which hasn't been for a while!).

I'm also hoping that they clear the slide on 6340, so I can get back to my favorite (so far) hikes in the Bull of the woods (trails 550 and 553).  I'm hoping to backpack into Big Slide Lake this summer.
