This is outside the boundary of general discussion here, but relates to the article on the early alignment of the Skyline Trail. There is a mapped trail on older topos that connects Summit Medows (and Swim) to Camp Blossom, prior to the construction of Mt. Hood. I ran across a metal Skyline Trail diamond sign in this area on what must be a segment of this trail - it's now the unofficial route used to visit West Fork Falls on the Salmon. I didn't know that there was a significantly different alignment of the Skyline until I ran across this bit of evidence, and researched it a bit more. Thanks for the more comprehensive article that you've included on your website!
