How is it out there?  Are there any landslides or floods yet? 

Just got back from a NY funeral, it's cold and brown back there.  We're very lucky to live in this green place.

I've been dying to get back out in the woods, but life has prevented me thus far.  I'm hoping maybe next weekend (with the long weekend coming) I can get out and check out some new places.

I do get a tick from time to time, but it's not the end of the world.  Wear long pants and sleeves, check around your hairline after walking in the woods.

The biggest risk is the drive there, and falling off a cliff by not paying attention.  Hiking is an exercise in Zen focus.
