Very nice but VERY steep trail, departs near Old Baldy and drops down to Eagle Creek.  Snow blocked the road about 1/2 mile before the trailhead, about 4000'.

Seems like a quick way down to Eagle Creek on a nice trail thru noble fir forests.  Tread is nice too, only a couple minor down trees.  This trail must have friends.  I was the only visitor for some time in the area, old footprints in old snow.  Felt pretty wild down there, I must admit I wish I had company and got a little nervous at times.  I am out of shape!  My arms hurt like hell from chopping rhododendrons...
