The Cripple Creek Trail is open from the bottom up to the clearcut - about two miles, I'd say. Clear of snow, and now clear of blowdown as of March 8. Plenty of room for some pulaski and McLeod work for those who might be inclined. If you walk it, you will see what I mean. Also some need for some rock work in teh rock slide area. Watch for poison oak!

I believe it is the lower slide but I can't recall for sure. In any event it is pretty minor. Most of it was rock that rolled down randomly, but there is a very small stepover washout in the middle that could use a tad of work. There is a ton of tread work to be done on that lower end of the trail with McLeod and Pulaski. the usual upslope side of the tread filling in and the lower side sloughing. Some spots are really bad.

I remember the area just south of the clearcut needing some tread work too.  All and all the trail is pretty decent tho.
