In the late 1950's a group of us Boy Scouts hiked part of the Skyline Trail from somewhat north of Crater Lake to near the Three Sisters. Unfortunately our adult leader died a few years ago with out passing on his maps of the hike. Does anyone have an accurate idea of the approximate location of the Skyline Trail in 1958?

All I can remember is that we started somewhere near Msquieto Lake, went out to Elk Lake, passed by an obsiden flow, went out over a lava flow and ended up in Frog Camp. (Not only do I have errors in spelling, but I may have problems with location names too! It has been 50 years now.)

Some of  are planning to re-hike the trail and any help would be appreciated.

Thank you that is very useful site. I wish that I had known about it years ago.
