Just thought I'd post an update on the trail that goes into Roaring River off FS4611 (Trail 517?).

I friend and I hiked into Roaring River to kayak last Sat. night. Trail was in decent shape. One small tree/branch we ducked under but no others across the trail. The tread is quite faint on a couple side hills.

The last part of 4611 getting to the trail has some logs across the road and overhanging branches. I'd bring a saw if you plan on going in. Nothing a hand saw wouldn't take care of. No snow at all.

Thanks Pete!
We are planning on doing a little tread work on it this year.
Do you ever put in at the next trail upstream, Coral Springs 507?

I've hiked down Corral Springs about 5-6 times. Not for a couple years though. When the river is high it's tough to get past the snow to the trail. I actually like that trail better as it has a couple nice views and the road is easier to drive.
