Long abandoned trail, not in a wilderness. This trail still gets used by non TA members to access the water. There was once a very unique man-made structure not too distant across the canyon behind me.   TA_Guess1.JPGTA_Guess.JPG

Brian, that trail looks like a game trail/user trail. There doesn't seem to be any dugout tread or blazes on trees, or at least from what I can see in the photos. Does this trail go down to the main branch of the Clackamas River?
B
It did come from the Clackamas River behind me a little distant. This land has been logged and burned, and the trail was abandoned I'm guessing 75 years ago

TA_Guess2.jpgHere's the tread in the second shot, as said, this land was logged heavily, but before I was born

Brian did this area get burnt again in the recent fire along the Clackamas River?
B
In looking at the 36 pit fire map, the fire got mighty close to the old trail.  If it matters, just to my left in the first photo is a substantial waterfall on a well known creek.  You could access a lookout from this trail
D
Brian would that be the Memaloose Trail from the bottom between the old suspension bridge across the Clackamas and the 45 road?
B
Head across the Clackamas River. Hint: There's a road named after the body of water with the waterfall I mentioned.

itd be really easy to Fall down into the Creek where i was....

Since no one else is trying, I'll make a wild guess, I think its a ways distant but I don't know of one closer. Three Lynx.

Byron,  head west. My last post practically gives it away

This is the trail along the North Fork Clackamas River to Bedford Point. This spot was up past Fall Creek just before Bee Creek where the trail and flags turned and headed up the hill
