What trail am I on?
D
Not sure where that is at the moment but boy is that a sickly looking stand of timber.
4000'?
D.
R
That almost looks like the eastern part of the Red Lake trail - near where it joins the PCT?
D
Would that be on Rho Creek below Fadaway Spring?
Don
R
Yes, it is around 4000'.
No to Rho Creek or Red Lake!
A clue: glaciers
B
I had a couple good guesses all lined up until I saw your glaciers clue.
Would it be in the Olallie Highlands?
R
Nope.
R
Do you guys need another clue?
D
For me the glacier clue puts me in a new wilderness.
But here's a guess: Anvil Lake trail heading in to Black Wolf Meadow?
D.
R
I'd call that a good guess, because you're right!
I'm surprised the area didn't get included in the wilderness. There is a lot of logging in the area, all around Timothy really. Anvil and Dinger seem to have been spared along with the meadows. Hopefully it will remain wild along with Cottonwood.
Ok again I pass the torch.
D
Ok then. Here you go. What trail am I on?
D.R
Is that High Lake? Although it looks too rocky.
D
No, not High Lake.
But the rock field is on the same side of the lake as at High Lake.
D.
R
I'm going to guess Buck Lake?
D
Are you sure? Is that your final guess?
D
Well if everybody is guessing, I will throw my 2 bits in. Is it Shellrock Lake?
R
Yes, that is my final answer.

I will defer to Bob, so he can post one of his photos. His photos are WAY more interesting than mine are!
R
Hey that's cheating! Besides your photos are fine.
The site looks very different today...

We haven't seen many of your photos......And you've got some REALLY cool ones!
See the post about the forum upgrade. It is still a work in progress, but getting better.
