Wow!  Finally, a winner!  Trail "X" it is.  Your turn.

OK, this may or may not be an easy one.  This picture was taken at the site of an old lookout.  That is all I will say for now.  What trail was I on? PA080090.jpg

I know where it is... but I'm not telling... it would be cheating because I was there when the photo was taken. I have one just like it: PICT0323.jpg

I'll have to guess as I don't distinctly recognize that artifact.   Olallie Butte?   D.

You are in the right general area, but no.

Is it Pinhead?  Man there are so many fire lookout sites in the MHNF.

It is not pinhead - you are going in the wrong direction.
R
Ruddy Hill?  That's my last guess because I really have no ideeea.

You are getting closer, but you need to go farther south.

You need to think monumentally.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it is.

We have a winner!

Many people forget our district takes in part of the Mount Jefferson Wilderness. Besides you guys had already guessed almost all of the other high points in the area. Some of the trees in the photo looked like they may have been burnt from the fire two summers ago. I will be a moment looking for a photo to post. Don

It looks like it has been a long time since that trail has had much traffic.

The trail was an abandoned one that was brought back from the past. It gets occasional use by those who know of it's existence. It isn't listed on our webpage, but has been talked about alot through the years. Don

Looks like Sounds of Two Rivers.   D

If anyone was going to guess this one I figured it would be you, seeing how you brought this trail back to life. It is the Sounds of Two Rivers  trail. It follows the ridge just to the west of the Roaring River and will take you up to the 4611 road after a short walk on a spur road. Your turn to post a photo. Don
