    Speaking tangentially, after further review I concur that the peak in the previous photo is not Squaw Mtn as I had mentioned, but a peak along the ridge to the south of Squaw Mtn. Satellite images show the ridge coming down from Squaw Mtn to the top of clearcut and landing near the Fanton Trail at this spot. I include another photo taken at the same time showing Squaw Mtn to the north or left of no name peak:   Don

That looks like a lightly used trail due to the Oregon Grape growing in the tread.  It reminds me of the Rho Creek trail?

This reminds me of the trail that leads up to Thunder Mountain from the south.   Bryon
