I know it's not it, but I have a photo from our return trip up the Grouse Point trail near 4611 that looks very similar. Nice little ridge traverse it appears
D
That is a pretty spot on that little ridge on Grouse Point trail but the one in the photo is on the other side of the river. No, I can't tell you which river.   D 2

That photo looks like several trail sections I've been on.  I'll guess Fish Creek Mountain.
D
Good guess. Fish Creek Mountain it is! You're pitching now.   D 2

Your comment about needing to get in on the official register made me think it might be Fish Creek Mtn.  Although it seems to have disappeared again.... Anyway, what trail in a newly minted wilderness is this rockslide on? IMAG0403.jpg

This trail looks like it might be in the Roaring River Wilderness?

You would be correct.
D
It's been at least 10 years since I had been there, but I would say it is the Corral Springs Trail. Don

You would be a little too far north.

My estimation on this one is the Grouse Point Trail.   Bryon

Still too far north.

With vine maple as weedy as that area appears to be, I will venture to speculate that you are on Mile Post 3 Trail?   D 2

You would be correct! That trail needs a little love. It is obvious no one has paid any attention to it in several years - probably since it was re-opened. You turn to post a photo

dscf0228.jpg OK. Here you go then. What trails was I on?   D 2

So is this a current trail or an abandoned one? It looks like the Cottonwood Meadows Trail, but I have seen similar water areas on some other abandoned trails. Don
D
As far as I know, it is not yet abandoned. D.

That picture kinda reminds me of Huxley Lake, but then I just noticed you said "trails", so I'm not sure the Huxley Lake Trail would fit that bill.
D
That was a typo. Clue, lot's of standing water in the Spring.   D 2
R
That is a tough one.  Anvil Lake?
D
The namesake of this trail can be reached from five directions by trail. Yes, there usually is standing water in a spring.   D Doubel Antandre 2
