Hey Rob, Do you have any idea why the times indicated on the posts are off so much? I'm posting this at 5:40 PM.   This is what it shows on my profile page:

I took a look at a few things, and it looks like it is a bug in the system.  Before I set my timezone in my profile, the time on your posting was only an hour off.  After I set it, it was 8 hours off (same as the offset).  There are errors in the logs about it, and I looked on the vendors site and they are in the process of fixing it.  Don't know when it will be fixed, though.

Thanks for looking into it. It's not a big deal if the times aren't accurate, just a little confusing sometimes.

I did the upgrade and tweaked a few things.  I think it is working as desired now.  Let me know what you think.

I changed the time settings again.  I'll see what this looks like.  The posting times were the same whether or not I was logged in.   [Later...] The posting time looks right to me now.  Let me know what you see.  Post something and see if the time is correct.  I'm not sure it would correct existing posts (not sure how it stores the time), but new posts will hopefully be correct.

Well, almost.  I logged out, and then I noticed the time stamp changed to 12:43 AM. Oh well, as long as we're logged in it works. And the time has to be right for some people's time zone. Just not around these parts!

Well, I'm logged in and my previous posts time stamps that were correct before are now incorrect. It's now 7:39 AM. Let's see what the time stamper says today.

Your posting shows as 7:40 for me, so hopefully it is sorted out.  It is confusing a bit - server times, local times, user times, all play into it.  I wouldn't expect the old postings to change - they were set based on what things were when they were saved.  But hopefully going forward things will be correct.  I never even noticed the times.  Thanks for bringing it up!
