I found some new historical documents which I added to the documents tab on the Historical Items page.  There are several years of Oregon Sportsmens magazines from the early 1900's, several Field Notebooks from Botanists, and a few government books on Oregon forests.  Most of the items are from late 1800's to the 1920's.  Some interesting info and some of it gives you a flavor of what it was like 100 years ago.

Cool! Where did you dig those up?

I'm not sure - I've had them for a while - I think they got lost in the flood of other things I found elsewhere.  I just found them while going thru some of my files the other day.  I think I got them while doing some searching on the national archives, but I'm not positive.
