Starting this week, the Clackamas River Watershed Council is sponsoring a series of free online seminars about the Clackamas River watershed, covering topics from geology to fish to natural history.  It will be a series of one-hour sessions every other week over the next year.  The next four sessions will address geology and soils, something I'd like to learn more about.  I think the program looks very interesting and I'll try to watch as many as I can.  More info here: http://clackamasriver.org/journey-down-the-clackamas-conference/  The first session, an introduction to the program, was held March 9.  Video is available at the bottom of the info page.
