

This morning I posted the transcribed diary from Helen and Elbert Brubaker on the historical items page. They worked at the Fish Creek Mountain lookout in the summer of 1945 and she wrote a very detailed diary of their time there. It is a fascninating read and gives some hint of what it was like to staff a fire lookout.

Thanks to all involved in this. Hopefully the pictures will be along soon.
Might let any CO groups or historians know it's posted. Didn't someone write a CO book? I'm sure the look out crowd will find it soon enough.
And we ought to let the Archaeologist at the office know it's transcribed and on line now.
