West Lake way Trail Elevation Profile – East to West
West Lake Trail 556 is a short connecting trail between Upper Welcome Lake camp and the Schreiner Peak Trail. It does not go to West Lake. It winds through some rocky areas and nice viewpoints before meeting up with the Schreiner Peak Trail.
Portions of this trail have been heavily impacted by fire. Some areas may be difficult to traverse. Use caution. Expect numerous downed trees and faint tread in places.
