Unfortunately, my understanding is that the FS isn't doing much ground work in the fire areas because of their "safety" concerns. I think some road issues were fixed by fire crews but I don't know much about trail work. There are large areas of the Forest that were mostly missed by both fires but without access it is going to be a struggle to even get volunteers out to assess and do any work.
