I hiked out the trail today and found 3 logs across the trail: one about 30-40 yards from the trailhead , and the other two are together at the last footbridge near the river. They were all  from 1-2 feet in diameter.  One of the two at the bottom will be challenging in that hangs in the air above the footbridge. I think we should wait awhile to cut, for the winter is still early, and more are for sure to come down before spring.
