Trail: Bagby

Trail #: 544

Trail Conditions

Trail had very recent maintenance from the southern trailhead to the Twin Springs Junction - logs cut and some significant brush work in places. Trail was in great shape. After the Twin Springs junction the trail got quite a bit brushier with a few logs. Once we entered the burn area (just past the junction with the Whetstone trail) the trail degraded pretty significantly. The trail is still there but buried under debris and many logs. The trail up to Silver King Lake is all but gone and the campsite is as well.

Note that the road up to Elk Lake (4697) is a very rough road and should be considered a high clearance road only.
