Trail: Huxley Lake

Trail #: 521

Submitted by: Rob Williams

Trail Conditions

Hiked this trail from the south end. The 4611 road is very rough in spots and is definitely a high clearance road only now. The trailhead is a bit obscured due to the large tank trap they put off the road to keep the ATVs off the trail. All the brush has grown up on the tank traps making it difficult to see the beginning of the trail but if you look carefully you will see a small opening that takes you to the actual trail.

The trail itself was in OK condition – a few small logs and some brush, but easily traversed. A lot of the ATV damage from years ago has healed up reasonably well.
